June saw the completion of our RAP and beatboxing workshops at Tŷ Gwyn Pupil Referral Unit in Aberdare funded by Families First and Tŷ Cerdd.

Over the course of 6 sessions, our professional tutors supported students to build confidence in learning rap, beatboxing skills and music production skills, culminating in the creation of a fabulous new song recording entitled ‘I Have The Right’!

The song was inspired by the themes of their schools Tutorial Curriculum exploring how students feel about themselves and their values in relation to their communities and their place in society.

Some of the students are now planning on participating in Project Prosper.
