Search for the Rainbow – Young Peoples Exhibition

The winners and participants of the art competition got to display their pieces in a professional exhibition from the 10th to the 26th of June.

The Workers Gallery in Ynyshir was the home of the collection where members of the public were invited to vote for their favourite piece as part of ‘Search for the Rainbow – Young Peoples Exhibition’. The showcase event for the competition aimed to raise aspirations in young people working with a seasoned graffiti artist and then being part of an exhibition.

The winners took centre stage – 1st place awarded to Jake Durkan, 2nd place Finley Morgan and 3rd place Lowri Williams with the peoples vote awarded to Hannah Cushion.

None of the young people had ever attended an exhibition before so felt really proud that their work was being exhibited in a professional gallery.

Open Access (any young people can take part)
